…problems are very sticky. They really are excellent ways to involve people.
There is a tendency amongst amongst charities and non profits to say we have the answers – “here is the problem – we have the solution – fund this”. It can be a little arrogant. Now a more engaging way is to say : “here is the problem – its a tough one, can you help?”
When it goes off – it’s that subconscious of yours knocking at the door of your concious brain. “Oi did you notice that?!”
Priming the problem is like setting your brain to work through the warehouse of your mind to haul up something that might help – it could be some talk you saw years ago, a book you read, or an idea you came across …
